Disability Rights has moved to disabilityhelp.org. A 501(c)4 nonprofit, Californians for Disability Rights, is the oldest and biggest disability membership community in California. CDR, which was founded in 1970 as the California Association of the Physically Handicapped (CAPH) with five members, has expanded to become a powerful and widely admired cross-disability advocacy organization.
CDR represents all California residents with disabilities. CDR and its members struggle for the independence, integrity, and equality of all disabled people under this trans-disability concept.
